We got our first Japanese Spitz in 1975 and started breeding in 1983. Our bloodlines are
based on the first dogs that came into Sweden in 1973 from Japan. They arrived at
Alvretens kennels and our first broodbitch was
S N Ch Lp Alvretens Xendi
She was also worked in obedience trials and some tracking trials. Her bloodlines are still
kept in our breeding today. Out of her we got S CH Rowley's
Linus-Line in 1983. He became the first in the breed to be invited to the
competition, Veteran of Veterans with the Swedish Kennel Club, a prestigous
competition where only the top winners in that year are invited.
S Ch Swedish Winner-92 Rowley's Big Little Fellow is out of
Linus-Line and has been Top Japanese spitz in 1992 and 1993. He was born in 1991, he was
very young when he won.
We have Best In Show and Group Winners in our breeding as well.
Our
very first JS was Ch Alvretens Fuji.
He was one of the first JS to enter and win an obedience trial. We bought him in 1975 and
have been dedicated to the breed since.
We believe these dogs can be more than just beautiful and have worked our dogs sucessfully
in obedience, field trials and agility. Our goal is to maintain the breed
sound both mentally and physically.
Rowleys Kennel have bred a
number of champions and more are on their way. Our puppies are raised in our
home.
